Connect your own domain

Point your own domain (like yourrestaurant.com) at your KitchenRush website with a DNS record or two. SSL is handled for you.

If you own a domain like yourrestaurant.com, you can serve your KitchenRush website from it. You'll add a DNS record at your domain registrar — a CNAME, plus a verification TXT record if the setup screen shows one; SSL (the padlock) is provisioned automatically.

Connect it

  1. In the dashboard, open Settings and find the custom domain area.
  2. Enter your domain name and connect it. KitchenRush will show you the DNS record to add.
  3. At your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, wherever you bought the domain), add a CNAME record pointing your domain to customers.kitchenrush.app.
  4. Come back and watch the status — once the record is found, ownership is verified and SSL is issued automatically. Your site is then live on your domain.
Note: Connecting a root domain (yourrestaurant.com without the www)? Some registrars don't allow a CNAME there — use their ALIAS, ANAME, or CNAME-flattening record type pointed at the same target. If the domain screen also shows a TXT record, add it too — it's an extra ownership check, not a replacement for the CNAME.

DNS changes can take a little while to propagate depending on your registrar. Your kitchenrush.app subdomain keeps working the whole time, so there's no downtime while you switch.
