Amount and side options (light, extra, left, right)

Attach reusable Amount and Placement child presets to the exact choices customers may customize.

Amount and Placement are reusable modifier presets. Attach either preset beneath the exact choice it customizes. If no child preset is attached, customers see no customization control:

  • Amount — Light / Normal / Extra. The selected child choice controls recipe quantity and any configured price factor.
  • Placement — Left half / Whole / Right half. The selected child choice controls the portion of the recipe consumed.

How pricing works

  • Paid add-ons — the option's price is multiplied by your light/extra factor (extra cheese at 2× the cheese price, if that's what you set).
  • Included ingredients — things already in the dish are free to remove or lighten; asking for *extra* can carry a flat upcharge you set per group (or stay free).
Note: Start with amount selectors on your highest-traffic customizations (sauces, cheese) — it removes the "extra sauce pls" note-field guesswork the kitchen has to interpret.
